Bop Du Fway is a
bit of an enigma in terms of our "usual" discs...the group, featuring
"Daddy-O" on vibes and orations, is a spoof on the jazz poetry bands of the
50's and 60's - the "beat" generation. This group plays to standing-room
only shows in Central Ohio during its many performances at the Carnegie Hall
of Jazz in Columbus, Dick's Den.
This disc, Dispatch from Outville, includes many of
their favorites, including Tomato Madness, Polka Cats, and the Ganges
River Blues Tune, When Your Karma Hits My Dogma. You will laugh till
you cry as you snap your fingers and join the hep cats listening to these
groovy cuts! |
